I spent the month of May, 2006, in Tuscany, Italy. The majority of my time was spent in the small hilltop villages of the Val D’Orcia region south of Siena.. Pienza, Montalcino, Montalpuciano, San Q’uirico and Buonconvento are small towns that captured my heart with their simple charms. The quality of daily life there is the finest I have ever experienced.
